Happy National Scrapbooking Day!!!

Greetings to everyone, I know it's been a while since I've had a moment to sit down and write a newsletter and what better day than the special day dedicated to our passion of Scrapbooking!

There are so many new things coming in all the time, I've got Rob at the computer this morning adding a few of the latest and greatest goodies that I'm sure you're all going to LOVE!

I've said many a time there are 2 different hobbies at work here one is Scrapbooking and the other is Collecting! Myself I've become more of a Collector as the time for Scrapbooking has been pretty sparse around here :D

Some of the new things that are being added just as quickly as we can are

If you've ever wanted a colour catalogue for much of what we carry don't forget we carry the KMA catalogues, the ones we have right now are from 2002 it's a fantastic catalogue! For only $3 on special now for $2!! Everything from all the KMA products to Me and My big ideas stickers and everything in between.

Things have been going especially well here in the store the last few months, our volumes have increased SO much we'll have to make some changes to keep up with these increases!

We are now shipping over 30 packages a day and with that has come some growth spurts that have necessitated our changes to serve you more efficiently. We are very often meeting or exceeding our goal of 2 day shipping and most often the orders are shipping same day!!!

- Phone orders will no longer be accepted, the speed at which we can fill orders that come in paper format is more than double of those taken over the phone. In addition the convenience for you getting back your original request with your order makes re-ordering out of stock items a snap!

- You are still welcome to Call in your credit card number during business hours of 9am-4:30 Monday through Friday MST we are in Edmonton so please check your local calling time. Faxes can be sent between 9am and 9pm. We are closed for all business Saturday and Sunday.

- We are no longer accepting personal shoppers, one appointment a day is just too difficult and there are too many people that we cannot accommodate. We're sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. The support through mail order that we've had from our local customers has been phenomenal and remember that all orders over $60 that are within local calling area qualify for the $2 shipping rate! You just can't beat that with gas prices, not to mention you get it the day after we ship it!!!

-pick ups may be arranged for paid orders, on a case by case basis.

- Remember that it's always a great idea to indicate alternates on your order, for example if you wanted a deluxe cut template #17 but would didn't really mind if you got #19 or #20 let us know, we do our best to fill your orders as completely as possible but we do run out of certain items and your help with some alternates is greatly appreciated.

- All orders must be sent to Amy at sales@scrapbooking.ca Amy has been a wonderful asset to us this year and is working full time serving you, our valuable customers. She does the emails with regards to the orders and frees me up for the ordering and paper work.

- During the Summer Months of June, July and August we'll be running a 4 day work week, closed each Friday and any Holiday Mondays.

- You are Going to LOVE this one!!! We now can accept email money transfers!!! go to www.certapay.com and see if your bank is supported by them. It's SO easy and instant. Make sure you are signed up and ready to go before letting us know you elect for this option. It may take extra time to process your order if we need to wait for you to forward the funds.

Introductory special, pay for your order with this method till the end of June and we'll give you a bonus surprise in your shipment!!!

- As you've noticed our newsletter is posted to the site, we are still compiling the list but as the number of emails grows we have had problems sending to such a large list (more than 6500)!

So for the time being we're just going to do it this way!

Well that's it for me today, I'm heading out of town to spend NSD with a couple of friends and our kids, and YES I'm taking my Camera!!! LOL

We're looking for some extra help around here and hope to post the positions on the classified ads on the site next week.
