It’s Beginning to look a LOT like Christmas! Man of Mercy where has the time gone?
I know it seems like I say that a lot, this whole year has just seemed to slip
through my fingers, from spring, to summer to fall and now Year end….
There are for sure a few newsworthy items:
Cricut
For you cricut people crazy for cartridges, cricut has a very special offer that we’re happy to let you know that you can get a FREE cartridge with the purchase of 2 cartridges. Here is the link to print off your coupon.! Purchase any 2 cartridges between now and December 31st and choose from a selection of free cartridges, you only pay shipping and handling.
The Cricut design studio is delayed, we don’t expect to see this item until after the end of January. Yes this will hook up to your computer to interface your cricut machine, both the expression as well as the original one. You WILL however still need your cartridges this will not allow you to use the fonts on your computer, what is will do is allow you to weld and alter the cartridge contents on your computer to produce great results on the cricut machine. I am taking names for this software as it will be very popular, as well as the release of the paper doll cartridge. The pricing should be the same as our other cartridges $82.50. We’ve just lowered all the specialty Disney cartridges to the $82.50 as well.
Scor-Pal
We have this great tool in stock and they are ready to ship for $39.95. These are the second series, they have a couple of extra markings as well as the ruler going down both sides. The replacement tools are also available for $5 ea. You won’t find these on our site, we’re not permitted to post them…
These are going to be a must have for all the SU gals who do a lot of scoring for workshops etc. Also for anyone who loves making all those fun projects that your demo does all the work for you with the elaborate folds and you never bother duplicating at home. Well how much do I love facebook? What a cool place to spend
some time and so many fun applications to boot!. I’ve started a page for R&R Scrapbooking.
And am looking for a couple of volunteers who would have fun interacting with

Christmas Shipping & Hours
Ok, I realize this is SO pot calling the kettle black but please don’t leave your Christmas shipping to the last minute, really for Easterners orders should be in by the 10th, yes that’s tomorrow! The latest probably the 12th for expedited shipping, of course we can still use expresspost but really the only recourse is going after the post office for a refund of shipping, and an apology by someone on the phone from Canada post who really doesn’t care… it won’t get your package to that special someone. Don’t count on it, especially this close to Christmas.
A great alternative might also be an R&R gift certificate, you can print it off at your convenience and call in a payment whenever it works for you, you can also send payments via paypal or email money transfer to sales@scrapbooking.ca a great way to clear off that paypal balance and make someone on your list very happy! Available in any denomination.
As Christmas falls on a Tuesday this year we’ll be closed from Noon Dec 21st straight through Jan 7th , this will allow time for inventory and switching over to the new lower 5% gst! Ryley’s birthday is Dec 29th and we’ve got parties planned and company in from out of town.
This
is Ryley’s early Christmas gift her name is Princessa and yes we need to do a photo shoot rather
than this pic from the breeder, but she is a great addition to our home, Ryley
has terrible asthma and allergies but this little bundle is just what the
doctor ordered! She’s a Donskoy Sphynx
breed and is truly hairless, she’s just like a hot water bottle and we
all just love her! Here is another pic of her.

- I’ve been working on a project using the Bo bunny 6x6 pre-made pages, and WOW are they super easy to use and look great, I just used a doodlebug knife and metal edged ruler and cut out all the white areas and slid the photos behind, I’m securing them to chipboard and making a gift album with vellum pages between the pre-made pages secured with bind it all rings! I’m even thinking of using cropper hopper dividers cut down to 6x6 for the covers J neat now I just need the time to finish it all up! Again the kettle speaking here, how fast can expresspost get this to where it needs to be in time? Zoiks!
