Winter Newsletter R&R
Scrapbooking
780-489-6713
Well how is this even
possible here we are the first week in February? A belated Happy New Year to everyone and
hoping that you all had a fantastic Christmas and New Year. Gee I guess Chinese New Year was just
last week so if I worked on that Calendar I’d be right on time! LOL Notice that I’ve named the newsletter
Winter…. Talk about hedging my bets on being busy once this goes out!
With the wonderful
unreasonably warm weather we have been experiencing I hope that you are all
taking great outdoor pictures in hopes to remember this unbelievable weather.
For those of us lucky enough to be living in Alberta! Sorry for all you Maritimers who are under the hand of yucky
weather.
Eeww to say nothing of the
prosperity cheques arriving this past week or so. For those who don’t know every man woman
and child in Alberta each receives $400, they are calling them “Ralph
Bucks”!
I’m really enjoying the few
personal shoppers by appointment, makes the busy days a lot more fun. If you’d like to come in and personal
shop feel free to give me a call at 489-6713. I’m very thankful for a bit of part-time
help that I can get from time to time and the store is taking shape slowly but
surely. What we need more than
anything is more room to facilitate my insatiable shopping habits! Inventory was done this year in a
record 7.5 hours! Thanks to
everyone who helped out 5 of us did it (and yes we left the stickers for Rob!
Tee hee) ok in all fairness I did all the patterned papers!
ZOIKS.
Search
Feature, we’re playing with this idea and as early
as this week should have some semblance of a working model up on the site… bear
with us, it’s a goal we’re working towards to make your experience here at
R&R an easier and more enjoyable one.
If you have any feedback we’d love to hear it!

Ok onto the good stuff,

Autumn
Leaves Designing with 2006 Calendar (LIMITED):![]()
I LOVE this calendar! It’s great, a new idea ever day in full
colour. A beautiful collection
of different categories including cards, stamping, general Scrapbooking, home
& gift, challenges, mini books and more.
I understand that there is also a binder that should be released late
in the year to divide these back up into categories and make up an idea book! I also have heard from some of you that
get them bound at the end of the year again into categories. Great idea! There are only about 3 left
and no more will be available.
Heidi
Swapp
This name just screams WOW!!! Heidi
Swapp is so popular we’re having a tough time keeping it in! The masks that just went up on the
site are selling fast Finally the
edge distressers are back
in stock! Again super
popular.
Looking for an album that
you can go wild with?? The exposed spiral binding is fun to embellish with
ribbons and charms. The covers can be easily customized with anything from iron-ons to foam stamps to reflect what's
on the inside. They come in three great colours: Crimson,
Black and Raw.
Think you can try your hand
at making your own? Try the Junkitz coverz!
They are super affordable,
and come with or without holes.
Looking for sturdy chipboard for other projects? Give these a
try!
HEIDI SWAPP MINI
IRON:
Do not be fooled by its petite
appearance! This little iron is NOT a toy! It is great to have an iron handy at
all times. It can be used to press a bit of ribbon or dry a tag that has been
dipped in walnut ink. Use it with Heidi Swapp’s Iron-on Alphabets! Face it, it
is soooo CUTE … it’s completely IRRESISTIBLE!!
There is no other way to
capture this fantastic texture on your projects than iron-on transfers. Quick
and easy to use. 5 seconds high heat, and that's it. Try it on your scrapbook
pages, mini books, album covers and even personalize a T-shirt, a bag or
whatever you can get your hands on. These are completely
addictive!
Cards are where its
at!
Check out the new Joy
of Cardmaking book a second helping!
It seems that 2006 is the
year of organization! Everyone is
after the vertical
storage, that line just isn’t slowing down. I too have been trying to dip into my
craft room and get if nothing else the paper organized. My, what trends I was into over the
years… how did that happen? One of
my resolutions this year is to get all the products that I know I’ll never use
and donate them… A big job for sure but honestly when I think about it if and
when I actually have time to dip into my Scrapbooking I won’t be reaching for
anything but my new favorites! So
why keep it?
