Hello to all of our wonderful customers! Fall has passed and here in Edmonton we enjoyed a whopping 3 days of it (or so it seems)… Winter is upon us and the early snowfall appears to have motivated an earlier than usual Christmas interest. That's good! Perhaps this year we'll have fewer urgent fellas calling in a panic to get their wives their goodies for under the tree!
Gift Registry
We have got some amazing things planned here at R&R Scrapbooking to get
you through the holiday season. If it's cards you're after, we've got your supplies.
How about a grab bag to get the kids started? Looking for affordable options?
We've got that too!
We want to work with you to make your holiday season the easiest possible, and
that includes offering YOU the service of a gift registry. Just email your wish
list and the email addresses of those who you'd like us to "drop the hint"
to and we'll do the rest (sales@scrapbooking.ca).
We can even offer gift wrapping for those who need that service. Just ask us!
We're here to help! Hint: you can even print off this paragraph and post it
on the fridge! We're happy to keep these on file year round as well.
Gift Certificates!
This is the best way to get the scrapbooker on your list just what she
wants. This is how it works: Decide how much of a gift certificate you'd like
to purchase and make sure you have the recipient's information (if they aren't
already an R&R Customer). We'll need their name, shipping address, phone
# and email address. Either email, fax or phone in the information and we'll
call you for your credit card #. (Ph. & Fax: 780-489-6713). Then we'll provide
you with a redemption code that you can write in a card or, if you prefer, we
can email them a notification advising them that they have a gift certificate
here. The best part of this is that it takes next to no preparation, is available
in any denomination, and there is nothing to lose or expire and it's used just
like cash. Good for sale, clearance, regular items as well as shipping costs.
*Keep in mind that this is available year round, for birthdays, anniversaries,
ticket out of the dog house - You name it! (Another really good print-it-off-and-put-it-on-the-fridge
item!)

We Remember
In observance of Remembrance Day, we will be closed November 11th. We are so thankful for those who fought for our freedom and especially so for those who are away from their families now, defending and making Canada the amazing place that we take for granted as being the best place in the world to live.
On the 12th of November we'll be closed too just to make a nice long weekend!
That's one of the good things about being the boss with a staff that loves long
weekends - we can do that from time to time! Laura has been such an incredible
asset to R&R! Having her here has afforded me some time to get other things
done as well. Dare I say, I've done a few scrapbook pages… sure am out
of the swing of things but happy to be trying a few of the new products out
there. Totally hooked on the MM foam stamps and paints!
Try this!
For those of you who haven't tried the PC sanders block, I'd highly recommend
it! Take any piece of patterned paper, crumple it up, smooth it out and lightly
go over it with the sanding block. Then go a little harder on the edges of the
paper. Really nice! When your page is done, you can even sand spots for your
embellishments or journaling.
Also in stock are the highly sought-after paint can kits, now with clear sides
to the can for a really neat gift idea. Or to get a jump on your Christmas cards!
