Art Basics, Heavy Gesso - Black (8.5 Fl. Oz.)

Texture: Heavy, black texture. Full coverage with only one layer. Permanent, matte finish when dry. Chalkboard paint effect. Application: can be applied with a palette knife, texture tool, or a brush. Works well with stencils. Just like white gesso works as a primer on many surfaces creating a matte, good working surface with a light tooth. Will provide a slight resist to non-permanent color products. It is also great for painting flat surfaces and recoloring embellishments. Air dry or speed up drying time with a heat tool. Customize: Doesn't work well with acrylics - color won't show through, but you could create nice texture by layering white and black gesso.
